Duke Robillard is a legacy blues artist who launched his career with A Roomful of Blues in 1967, joined the Fabulous Thunderbirds, played with the Legendary Blues Band, was one-third of the New Guitar Summit, leads his own band and continues to do solo shows, now nearing his 77th birthday.

With his own albums plus contributing to dozens more with other artists, Duke is a master of blues, swing, jump blues and jazz.

As a session guitarist and producer, Duke has recorded with Bob Dylan, John Hammond, Ruth Brown, Billy Boy Arnold, Rosco Gordon, Jay McShann, Jimmy Witherspoon, Maria Muldaur, Pinetop Perkins, Joe Louis Walker, Johnny Adams and many more.
Duke has picked up a mantle’s-worth of various blues awards over the course of 37 albums. His latest is a classic roll-your-head-back-and-feel-the-blues “Roll With Me” released in 2024.

  5. 2001, 2002, 2003 Maple Blues Awards, International Artist of the Year from the Toronto Blues Society, the highest blues honor in Canada.[6]

  6. Grammy nomination, Best Contemporary Blues Album, Guitar Groove-a-Rama, 2007

  7. Grammy nomination, Best Traditional Blues Album, Stomp! The Blues Tonight, 2010

  8. Nominated for three 2025 BMA Awards: BB King Entertainer of the Year, Traditional Blues Album of The Year-- “Roll With Me” -- and Traditional Male Artist of the Year.
