Dave Hinkel has been around the Berks County music scene since the 1970s, both working in Fred’s Music Shop and playing with a variety of bands.

He has played everything from rock to standards and swing to bluegrass and blues.

The guitar players and musicians who have influenced him are just as widespread.

Hinkel loves to blend all of the styles and influences into the great melting pot of music.

Dave Hinkel & the Crew have performed at jazz dinners at the DoubleTree by Hilton.

Hinkel also performs with drummer Matt Cullen.
